Welcome to the Environmental Assistance Office for Small Business (EAO).

As a part of the Global Institute of Energy and Environmental Systems group (GIEES), we are located at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Cameron Applied Research Center room 258.  Our goal at the EAO is to increase effective pollution prevention practices in the Charlotte area by bringing together talented students and faculty and to team up with government agencies and small businesses sharing the common goal of pollution prevention  

The EAO for small business provides non-regulatory, client-confidential pollution prevention assistance to small businesses in the greater Charlotte region. The office staff can provide you with timely assistance for pollution prevention planning, including information about industry-specific case studies, waste specific case studies, and new technologies.Your small business advocate also works to reduce the regulatory burdens that federal policies impose on small firms and to maximize the benefits small businesses receive from government.
