Donald L. Safrit, PE, will be the guest speaker for the October Environmental Systems Seminar on Monday, Oct. 30th  at 4 p.m. in Cameron Hall, Room 101.  Don Safrit is an experienced senior project manager located in the HDR Calabash, North Carolina, office. Don Safrit has 21 years experience in water quality engineering, including 13 years with the North Carolina Division of Water Quality. Don was instrumental in shepherding the first set of state regulations on water reuse through the legislature when he worked for NC DENR Don is leading a new effort to update our current regulations to make them more consistent with that of some other states. He is one of the most knowledgeable people in the state on water reuse.

 

The Environmental Systems seminar series is sponsored by the Environmental Academy, the Civil Engineering Department, and the Infrastructure and Environmental Systems Ph.D. Program to provide informative and thought provoking seminars for faculty and students on topics generally related to Environmental Systems
